As a SCADA/IIoT Engineer, your main objective will be to design, implement, and maintain control and data acquisition systems for monitoring and controlling alkaline electrolyzers. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective integration of IIoT technologies, ensuring operational efficiency and security of the systems. Your work will contribute to the development and optimization of innovative solutions that drive digital transformation, improving productivity and competitiveness of our electrolyzers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design, development, and maintenance, together with the rest of the technical team, of the SCADA/IIoT system to monitor and control electrolyzers.
* Integrate SCADA systems with control equipment, sensors, and actuators to automate industrial processes.
* Integrate SCADA/IIoT systems with data analysis platforms for data processing information.
* Perform tests and validations of SCADA/IIoT systems to ensure their optimal operation and safety.
* Maintain and regularly update SCADA/IIoT systems to ensure their performance and compatibility with industry standards.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design customized solutions that improve the quality of life, efficiency, and productivity in electrolyzers.
* Design the communications architecture for the electrolysis plant and its integration into the network.
* Configuration of network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
* Support for problems and improvements related to plant communications.
* Development and integration of data tools for data processing and storage.
* Commissioning and testing of equipment and designed installations.
* Generation of documentation of the projects carried out.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering in Automation and Industrial Electronics, Engineering in Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering.
* At least 5 years of experience as a SCADA engineer, data tools, and Industrial communications.
* Experience with SCADA systems and signal interface (RTUs/RTACs) with industrial communication.
* Experience in integrating multiple SCADA systems.
* Experience with databases and data tools.
* Knowledge of communications protocols such as OPCUA, SQL, Modbus.
* English level that allows for presentations and conducting meetings with foreign suppliers/customers.
* Knowledge in the following will be valued:
o Training at WINCC, ATVISE.
o Cybersecurity.
o Azure DevOps.
o Automation and control with PLCs.
o Bachmann PLC Knowledge, Phoenix.
o Industrial communications protocols (Profinet, CAN...).
o Hydrogen technologies.
