Cencora Pharmalex is one of the leading service providers for the Pharmaceutical Industry globally and is specialized in all aspects of drugs and medical devices approval, market development, and effective product maintenance. We are looking for a Business Development Manager, to be remote based in Spain.
Cencora Pharmalex services are DCS, regulatory, QMC, PharmaCovigilance, and Market Access.
Your Job
1. Develop sales hunting plans, proposals, and forecasts within designated region to develop.
2. Develop and conduct sales presentations.
3. Lead the coordination of quotations and proposals with subject matter experts in line with defined commercial strategy.
4. Contribute to coordination of RFPs and bid defense meetings with relevant parties in collaboration with the Commercial Director of the region.
5. Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships, and sales activity to promote PharmaLex services.
6. Develop existing accounts with a strong focus on seeking new business.
7. Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel within client organization, and develop strong business/partner relationships with them.
8. Gain understanding of target clients' business challenges and goals.
9. Consult and problem solve to enhance the company's position in existing and target clients.
10. Liaise with regional management, Commercial Director, and the heads of the different business units to aggressively pursue new business opportunities in line with defined Commercial Strategy.
11. Manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving PharmaLex resources as appropriate.
12. Maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information within standard reporting tools of the company.
13. Ensure MSA and contract are signed in a timely manner.
Your Profile
1. You have successfully obtained a bachelor's degree in business/economics and/or equivalent qualification in a science-related field.
2. You have at least 5-10 years of professional experience in business-to-business sales with a proven track record of sales development.
3. You are familiar with Customer Centric Selling methodology and Account Based Management.
4. You have good knowledge of the healthcare business from a supplier's perspective or alternatively from within a healthcare company.
5. You are a team player with the ability to influence, develop, and empower others to achieve targets.
6. Business partners describe you as communicative, conscientious, accurate, and responsible.
7. You can demonstrate a strong goal orientation, are results-driven, highly competitive, and self-motivated.
8. You possess a flexible mindset, are highly accountable, well organized with excellent planning skills and strong business acumen.
