Role Overview:
As Marketing Operations Project Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the project. Your responsibilities span various areas, with a primary focus on the client, team, and project operations. This involves overseeing the project setup, understanding its complexities, and maintaining effective communication within the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background, combined with expertise in operational processes, MDF management, financial oversight, and data-driven decision-making. This role requires someone with commercial acumen, fluency in tools like PowerBI.
Key Responsibilities:
· Efficiently establish and document project workflows and processes to streamline operations.
· Maintain a deep understanding of the project, providing continuous support to the team throughout its lifecycle.
· Oversee performance measurement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the program. Track KPIs, analyse data, and generate reports to assess outcomes and inform decision-making.
· Manage MDF budgets, financial tracking, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Keep the team promptly informed about project updates and address any operational inefficiencies that arise.
· Develop and regularly update training materials to ensure the team is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge. Facilitate knowledge sharing and encourage the adoption of best practices within the team.
· Ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives, KPIs & ROI, lead management and partner enablement actions
· Diligently manage project finances and work towards achieving delivery and commercial objectives
· Allocate resources efficiently to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
· Monitor team morale and provide coaching and support to ensure high performance.
· Identify, assess and mitigate risks by anticipating potential challenges and implementing contingency plans.
· Maintain open and constructive communication with global clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment on project deliverables.
· Serve as a key liaison for client needs, expectations, and project insights.
· Prepare and present reports, including QBRs and MBRs, detailing project progress, financial updates, and key insights.
· Champion a hands-on approach, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability to evolving project needs.
Skills Required:
· Strong operational and process management skills, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
· Data analysis and visualization
· MDF management, financial oversight, and budget allocation.
· Must have proficiency in PowerBI dashboard creation and Smartsheet.
· Experience in Salesforce, Excel, Monday.Com and others.
· Solid understanding of marketing principles and metrics and how they integrate into operational workflows.
· Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
· Resilience and emotional intelligence to navigate complex team and client interactions.
· Strong commercial acumen and strategic decision-making abilities.
· Effective leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
