Job title: Business Development Director - FMCG Account
Location: Barcelona, Spain.
I am currently partnered exclusively with an industry leading global Personal Care and Homecare contract manufacturer. We are in search for a Business Development Director to manage the largest FMCG Global account.
This individual must be strategic and have global understanding of FMCG landscape, will be responsible for reporting directly to executive committee. Must be willing to travel extensively and work in a global team.
This individual will be responsible for leading the negotiations of the commercial agreement and execution related to the established strategy, achieving defined commercial sales objectives.
Relocation will be supported if necessary, must be based in Europe.
Essential requirements
* 6+ yrs experience in similar role in large and well-structured company. Preferable in FMCG’s company and inside a manufacturing plant/close contact with manufacturing plant.
* 2/3 yrs management experience.
* Deep knowledge in at least of the following (and generic knowledge in the others): Contract agreement, Project Management, Manufacturing costing, Finance.
* Strong analytical and business backgrounds as well as an understanding of strategic partnerships.
* Strong negotiation skills - able to close multimillion business deals.
* Speak fluent English.
Responsibilities
* Manage team of 4 direct reports.
* Close to Billion$ P&L Responsibility.
* Meet or exceed Customer expectations, as well as both formal and informal Service Level Agreement.
* Actively participate in delivering goals agreed, assist preparation of the periodical reviews.
* Establish adequate communication formats between all stakeholders.
* Responsible internally and in front of customer as SPOC of negotiating all prices.
* Encourage high sales volume with targeted RVAC and CFM.
* Coordinate & Report business continuity activities.
* Contract negotiation (manufacturing, service, funding agreements).
* Win new and capacity expansion projects for the company, prepare offers and quotes and negotiate best conditions.
* Coordinate with plant/customer on supply agreements negotiations, including order and forecasting rules, raw and pack materials supply conditions, safety stocks and consequences of cancellation / reduction of demand.
* Budget and forecasting of sales and capex, deliver numbers for different sales view required.
* Encourage plants to deliver value back to the customer to meet financial objectives without deviating from internal financial objectives.
