We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Málaga office!
Data Engineer to support Digital Insights with the end to end responsibility, to retrieve, store and model data, develop and maintain data pipelines, and develop solutions to support the use cases.
Description of role and responsibilities:
Knowledge of Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python.
SQL Skills: Expertise in Joins, Group By, subqueries, and temporary tables.
Strong knowledge in Apache Spark.
Cloud Platform: experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Data Orchestration Tools: Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Control-M, or similar.
DevOps Experience: Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
Desirable:
Visualization Tools: Knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI, Grafana, or experience in visualization libraries.
Containerization Technologies: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
Previous experience with Databricks.
Agile Methodologies: Understanding of agile methodologies.
Certifications: Certifications in cloud technologies or big data are a plus.
Education degree & experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
+2 years of experience technical knowledge in the following technologies:
Deep Knowledge of Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python. Use of PySpark.
Strong SQL Skills: Expertise in Joins, Group By, subqueries, and temporary tables.
Cloud Platform: experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Strong knowledge in Apache Spark.
Data Orchestration Tools: Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Control-M, or similar.
DevOps Experience: Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
Have knowledge and use of Git.

Ability to work individually without much direction while also working as part of a team towards a common goal.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Results-oriented, self-directed ability to drive change in an unstructured environment.
Time management skills.
Interest on the business side behind code logic.

English
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
