La Casa de la Luz seeks a candidate to lead an active pedagogy school that currently serves Infant and Primary education, with potential expansion to Secondary education.
Who We Are
La Casa de la Luz was founded in response to the needs of families seeking innovative educational approaches. Our core objective is to foster the holistic development of each child, respecting their individual learning pace for balanced growth.
We strive for children to acquire not only academic skills but also human qualities such as emotional intelligence, creativity, autonomy, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
Our Vision
Our young school currently welcomes 55 students (with plans to reach 65), 1 administrator, 6 guides, and several families actively involved. This low student-to-teacher ratio enables us to cater to individual interests and needs. We're privileged to be located in a unique setting surrounded by nature in one of Spain's most beautiful areas. Our connection with nature is nurtured by the opportunity to learn within the Alcornocales Natural Park.
The school is undergoing a transformative process from a 'family project' to becoming an accredited international school while maintaining its community roots and free spirit. To achieve this, we have the support of committed families and are seeking a director to help navigate this transition.
