About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Plone/Web Developers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end web development, with a focus on Plone CMS and modern web technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that are scalable, accessible, and user-friendly.
Key Areas of Expertise:
1. Generic Front-End Web Development
* Responsive design and mobile-first web development.
* Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 guidelines).
* Proficiency in HTML5 & CSS3.
2. Plone Front-End Web Development
* Experience with the React framework.
* Hands-on experience with Volto (Plone’s front-end framework).
3. Generic Back-End Web Development
* Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages, particularly Python.
* Experience in API Development.
* Familiarity with Headless CMS architectures.
* Knowledge of Microservices and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
4. Plone Back-End Web Development
* Expertise in Zope and Plone CMS frameworks.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using Plone CMS and modern web technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly, responsive, and accessible web interfaces.
* Build and integrate APIs for seamless data exchange between systems.
* Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
* Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web development.
* Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles.
* Proficiency in Python, React, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
* Experience with Plone CMS, Volto, and Zope frameworks.
* Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
* Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with headless CMS architectures.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
