This is a fixed-term-contract starting in February and ending in December 2025.
The Amazon Business Team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive the growth and analytics strategy for our subscription program. This role requires a data-driven leader with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business intelligence to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
This is an individual contributor role.
Key job responsibilities
1. Growth & Strategy: Lead initiatives to drive membership growth, engagement, and retention through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.
2. Data Analysis & BI Tools: Utilize SQL and business intelligence tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data, supporting strategic decisions. Conduct deep-dive analyses, create dashboards, and optimize reporting tools without reliance on external data teams.
3. Performance Reporting: Own the creation and automation of key reports (Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business Reviews) to track KPIs, measure impact, and provide recommendations.
4. Marketing Influence: Work closely with marketing teams to expand the visibility of Business Prime, drive increased traffic, and optimize customer acquisition strategies.
5. Process Optimization: Work closely with finance and operations teams to refine and develop analytical tools that enhance business performance.
6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership and partner teams to align business objectives, ensuring data-backed decision-making.
7. Technical Collaboration: Partner with tech teams to define requirements, prioritize projects, and create estimations for implementation.
A day in the life
1. Extracting and analyzing large datasets to uncover growth opportunities.
2. Preparing key business documents and reports to drive decision-making.
3. Partnering with cross-functional teams to refine strategies based on data insights.
4. Collaborating with marketing and tech teams to implement growth initiatives.
5. Automating and optimizing reporting tools to improve efficiency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience in Product Management, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
2. Advanced proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, etc.), and Excel.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven insights.
4. Experience preparing and managing business reports such as WBRs, MBRs, and QBRs for senior leadership.
5. Strong marketing acumen to influence visibility, traffic, and subscription growth.
6. Technical knowledge to collaborate with partner teams on development initiatives, including BRD creation, prioritization, and effort estimation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and influence stakeholders across teams.
