THE MISSION
We are looking for a Sales Manager to help us further develop our business by signing the top enterprise merchants in Italy. You will support our Country Sales Manager Italy in setting the strategic commercial direction and regional go-to-market strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Identify and build your champion in all the negotiations you will start;
* Identify the pain points of the merchants in order to propose the best solution;
* Focus on pipeline generation in order to have enough deals to achieve your target;
* Establish strong relations with key interlocutors, building and executing joint agreed business plans with partners or merchants to drive mutual growth and success;
* Follow the sales process and methodology implemented at Scalapay.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Be an exceptional salesperson. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career. Exceptional means the type of results that are beyond the reach of 90%;
* You have at least 4 years of experience in sales selling to enterprise;
* You have closed enterprise-level accounts;
* You have a methodical approach - you speak MEDDIC is a plus;
* You can talk ecommerce and payments fluently;
* You are fluent in Italian and English;
* You have a good knowledge of CRM tools (ideally Hubspot), LinkedIn and prospecting solutions.

* Meet or exceed the target every quarter;
* Become a fundamental part of the Italian team and help the company grow;
* Strengthen Scalapay's position in the Country;
* Make Scalapay number 1 priority for the top 30 merchants in Italy;
* Foster a positive and inclusive team culture within the local team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of ownership.

* A first interview with the Country Sales Manager and with the CRO to deep dive into your experiences and better understand your motivation;
* A case study to test your hard skills, that will be debriefed with the Country Sales Manager and CRO;
* A final chat with Simone (our CEO) where he will share and assess the Scalapay Values.
