The Opportunity: Your position will support the Finance Operations team in EMEA, specifically covering PTP (Procure-to-Pay) Spain & OTC (Order-to-Cash) EMEA responsibilities. OTC responsibilities will include debt management, credit note creation as part of the Credit Note Centre of Excellence project, and debt reporting in liaison with our Service Partners across EMEA. This opportunity is located in Spain, within Global Business Solutions division.

In this role you will:
* Compliance and Accounting Support: you will ensure adherence to Astellas policies, lead compliance efforts, and support Spain’s controlling team, tax filings, and adjustment processes within the Affiliate.
* PTP and OTC Operations: you will provide accounting support for PTP Finance and execute OTC project work, including dunning, credit reviews, cash collection, and process simplifications across EMEA.
* Audit and Tax Support: you will assist with audits (tax, statutory) and prepare fiscal reports for Spain, maintaining control evidence and supporting tax audits.
* Process Improvement and Other Duties: you will drive simplification of processes, allocate workload efficiently, and perform other business-related tasks as required.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience conducting accounting activities.
* Knowledge of accounting and internal control standards.
* Experience in taxes.
* Professional level English & Spanish.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
* Experience in pharmaceutical industry.
Education / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Additional information:
* This is a permanent full-time position.
* Position is based in Spain.
* This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our Madrid office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
* 5-10% domestic / international travel might be required.
