As part of Operations Excellence, the Service Digitalization team drives the digital transformation of service operations to ensure that Nordex Service can operate safely whilst being profitable and competitive with high customer satisfaction by means of digital solutions. As Project Manager - Digitalization, Service Digitalization you will work collaboratively in global, cross-functional teams. You will lead project(s) to implement new or improve existing digital solutions.
YOUR TASKS
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Digitalization Project Manager to lead a cutting-edge Digitalization project aimed at improving the efficiency of service technicians in the wind energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digitalization, AI technologies, and project management, with a focus on optimizing field service operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative AI solutions that enhance service workflows, predictive maintenance, and decision-making processes.
1. Project Planning and Execution Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to deployment, ensuring successful delivery of the AI-driven solution. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to meet business objectives. Collaborate with Internal IT Organization, external tool/Service Providers, and Service business stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables
2. Stakeholder Management Liaise with Service department heads, field technicians, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals. Maintain regular communication with Steerco and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and opportunities. Oversee the integration of AI tools (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics) into service workflows to streamline technician operations and improve problem resolution times. Ensure the AI system supports key functions like guided troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and task prioritization for technicians in the field
3. AI Solution Implementation Ensure proper data collection, cleaning, and management to support the AI model’s accuracy and reliability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and system analytics to ensure continuous improvement and scalability of the solution
4. Risk Management and Quality Assurance Identify potential project risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct quality assurance checks and lead troubleshooting efforts to ensure smooth deployment and functionality of the AI solution
5. Training and Change Management Lead the development of training programs for service technicians to ensure they are proficient in using the new AI-based tools. Manage the change management process, ensuring a smooth transition for technicians as they adopt new digitalized processes
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Stay abreast of industry trends, particularly in AI, IoT, and field service management systems, to continuously drive innovation. Identify opportunities to enhance the AI system, ensuring it evolves with changing business needs and technology advancements
YOUR PROFIL
7. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. A master’s degree or certifications in AI or Project Management (PMP) is a plus
8. Experience : 5+ years of experience managing digital transformation projects, preferably with AI applications. Experience in the wind energy or energy sector is highly desirable
9. Technical Knowledge : Good understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, predictive analytics, and digital tools for service operations
10. Project Management : Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional projects using agile or waterfall methodologies
11. Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage stakeholders at all levels with English as Primary business language
12. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve project issues
