Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Intern to join the Act Second Ventures team in Barcelona. In this role, you will work closely with the sales departments of multiple startups in our portfolio, with a primary focus on supporting Beauty Rep. You will be involved in various sales activities, including lead generation, client outreach, and sales performance analysis. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, business development, and startup operations while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads for Beauty Rep and other startups in the portfolio.
2. Client Outreach: Assist in reaching out to prospective clients through email, phone, and social media to generate interest and set up meetings for the sales team.
3. CRM Management: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client information, ensuring proper tracking of sales activities.
4. Sales Support: Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales collateral for client meetings.
5. Market Research: Conduct research on target markets, competitors, and potential clients to support sales strategies.
6. Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business goals.
8. Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling meetings, organizing sales events, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
1. Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Business, Marketing, or a related field at a top university, or an MBA candidate at a leading business school.
2. Strong interest in sales, business development, and startups.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce,...) is a plus.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
7. Ability to work on-site in Barcelona.

1. Previous internship experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
2. Familiarity with e-commerce and beauty industry trends.
3. Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and take ownership of tasks.
