Job Responsibilities:
1. To get the pizza dough ready, grate cheese and slice and chop pizza toppings such as vegetables and meat.
2. Also make fresh tomato sauces if necessary.
3. Prepare ingredients for calzones, sandwiches, garlic bread, and simple pasta dishes.
4. Turn oven controls to regulate temperatures and set time cycle for baking pizzas.
5. Ensure that the kitchen meets safety and health standards.
6. Operate and monitor baking equipment and temperature to control appearance of products.
7. Check and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and utensils to meet health and safety regulations.
8. Perform any other tasks as required by the Executive Chef updated by Cipriani Management from time to time.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
Ability to walk, stand, and continuously perform essential functions for an extended period of time.
Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines under supervisory guidance.
Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
