Overview
Nagra Sport provides over-the-top (OTT) streaming services for sports content owners. It is part of the Kudelski Group, which is a global leader in digital security and convergent media solutions. Nagra Sport partners with owners of attractive sports content, such as leagues, federations, clubs, or broadcasters, and develops and operates a direct-to-consumer OTT service in partnership with them. The OTT service offers a branded and customized platform for fans to access the content. Nagra Sport handles the technical aspects of the OTT service, such as encoding, encryption, delivery, and monetization, as well as the marketing, customer service, and analytics. Nagra Sport shares the revenue generated by the OTT service with the content owner, creating a win-win situation for both parties. More than often, a significant source of revenue comes from in-app advertising and sponsorship.
Role
As the Ad Operations Manager specializing in our Advertising Operations, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution and optimization of our video advertising campaigns. You will leverage your deep expertise in Google Ad Manager 360 (GAM360) and extensive experience in trafficking video ads to ensure seamless delivery and maximize revenue. You'll also play a critical role in integrating diverse demand sources, troubleshooting complex ad serving issues, and collaborating with product teams to develop new ad formats and rules.
Responsibilities
* Video Ad Trafficking: Expertly traffic and manage video ad campaigns, including complex frequency capping and targeting. Ensure accurate and timely campaign delivery, including sponsorships. Optimize campaigns and troubleshoot delivery issues.
* Demand Source Integration: Set up, test, and maintain integrations with diverse demand sources. Manage VAST requests/responses and ensure compatibility. Collaborate with external partners on integration.
* Product Collaboration: Work with product teams to develop and implement new ad formats, rules, and features. Provide technical expertise and recommendations. Participate in testing/QA of new ad products.
* Optimization and Analysis: Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities. Analyze ad performance data and provide insights. Stay up-to-date with industry trends.
* Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance checks and resolve debug issues to ensure correct setup and delivery across platforms/devices.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support and collaborate with various internal teams (e.g., Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing etc)
* Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, such as delivery investigation and third-party rich media issues.
* Workflow and Documentation: Assist with documenting, updating, and maintaining trafficking/workflow procedures.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4+ years of experience in an ad operations role, with a strong focus on video advertising.
* Extensive experience with Google Ad Manager 360 (GAM360).
* Proven ability to traffic and manage complex video ad campaigns, including VAST and VPAID
* Strong understanding of video advertising technology and marketplace, vendors and third party technology
* Experience with video ad servers (GAM, Freewheel etc)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, such as delivery investigation and third-party rich media issues.
* Knowledge of frequency capping and complex ad rules.
Requirements
