Medtronic is recruiting a few opportunities across the Spain Enterprise Accounts Sales team! We are seeking talented medical device sales professionals with a background in key account management to join this sensational new team! Reporting into the Enterprise Account Director, the Enterprise Accounts Manager will enable individual Medtronic Portfolio (all Medtronic Operating Units) to achieve their goals with our public and private buying influences. Within this role, you will manage the Medtronic Portfolio across the Andalusian Territory, securing sustainable contracts for profitable revenue and share growth in the private and public sector. You will pursue new business to drive mutual benefit. By forging long-term partnerships at the C-Suite level and with national Groups, the Enterprise Sales team creates opportunities for access to Medtronic technologies and drives product penetration. You must be located in Andalucia.
A Day in the Life
We offer you a position where the following tasks are part of your daily work:
1. Protecting and generating incremental revenue from a portfolio of Selected Accounts within the assigned territory, in accordance with agreed targets.
2. Owning the C-Suite relationship (CEO, CFO etc.) and serving as the lead point of contact for all business development related matters for Enterprise Accounts in your region.
3. Being the lead as part of a Medtronic team of Enterprise Account Managers.
4. Working towards an overall Medtronic Portfolio target, by adapting to necessary business models to generate required business revenue.
5. Managing sales related activities including offer modelling and analytics, proposal preparation, offer presentation, contract and terms negotiations, price negotiation, cost analysis, liability and exposure management and negotiation, for your region.
6. Growing collaborative and synergistic relationships across the Medtronic Portfolio.
7. Seeking out new opportunities, working towards an overall Medtronic Portfolio target and being an invaluable business partner for Medtronic Leads/Directors.
Must Haves
Minimum of 5 years sales or business leadership experience in the medical devices sector.
Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Sales, Economics or Marketing (bachelor’s degree as a minimum).
Demonstrated skills and competencies to operate in a sales leadership role.
A proven & successful sales record. Integrity is paramount. Talking straight and seeking feedback is viewed as critical to success.
Proven business acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contract terms.
Ability to generate financial analyses to a high standard.
An effective presenter with professional presentation and “presence”.
An expert influencer with a proven ability to negotiate.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of industry trends, developments, and market conditions.
Understanding of health care system requirements (outcomes research, cost, etc.).
Excellent computer literacy including a high level of knowledge MS Office suite of software.
Have an excellent working knowledge of the Spanish Private Health Insurer industry, Private Hospital Buying Groups, and individual private hospital mechanisms and KPIs.
An excellent knowledge of the Public Hospital sector in Spain.
Fluent English (read, converse, and write).
