Job Description
The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, implementation, and enhancement of our technical products.
This position is part of a technology department that consists of a successful and multidisciplinary group of professionals located across the globe – Barcelona, New York, Manchester, Bucharest, and India.
You will take ownership of a key product or technology in the company's portfolio, working within a cross-functional team of engineers, testers, and designers to develop innovative products centered around interpretation.
Responsibilities:
* Create and prioritize the product roadmap that meets user needs and corporate goals
* Manage the entire product lifecycle from planning to release
* Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
* Own the delivery of the product
* Optimize the software development process
* Communicate daily with the cross-functional team to clarify any questions and remove roadblocks
* Customer discovery using market analysis, user research, insights, and stakeholder feedback
* Manage and leverage web analytics for your product to analyze the performance of the existing features and prioritize the future ones
* Communicate scope changes and prioritization reasoning to stakeholders
Requirements
* Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
* 3-5 years of experience in software development as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role
* A solid working knowledge of the product management lifecycle and an understanding of the tenets of software development using Agile methodologies
* Experience managing products or projects using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps Server, Confluence, Trello, etc.
* Expert communication skills: ability to manage stakeholders' expectations, be prepared to justify delays or scope changes, and communicate technical information to business stakeholders in an easy-to-understand way
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a field such as design, business, computer science, or related field
* Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript
* Experience with web analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, Matomo, Localytics, or similar
* Experience working in a distributed team
