📋Context of the Position:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be a key contributor to the development and enhancement of our web applications. Your expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript will drive the creation of high-performance, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions.
You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to build intuitive and efficient user interfaces. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to best practices in front-end development, advocate for performance optimization, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
🎯 Your Responsibilities:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
Frontend Development
* Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
* Ensure the implementation of responsive and accessible UI components using MUI.
* Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
* Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data sources.
* Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices..
Code Quality and Best Practices
* Enforce coding standards and best practices in front-end development.
* Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
* Maintain high test coverage by writing unit and integration tests.
* Ensure compliance with security best practices and accessibility guidelines.
Collaboration and Agile Development
* Work closely with designers to implement user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
* Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Engage in discussions to improve development workflows and processes.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
DevOps and Deployment
* Use Docker to containerize front-end applications and streamline development workflows.
* Collaborate with DevOps engineers to optimize CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployment.
* Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure application stability.
Continuous Improvement
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in front-end development.
* Propose and implement improvements to enhance the developer experience and application performance.
* Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and documentation.
🕵️♂️ What We are Looking For:
Languages: Fluent in English language. Interviews will be conducted in English. French is a plus.
Experience:
* A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in front-end development.
* Proven track record of working with React, Next.js, and TypeScript in production environments.
* Experience with UI component libraries such as MUI.
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
* Prior experience in mentoring or coaching junior developers is a plus
Technical Expertise
* Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
* Experience with Material UI (MUI) and building reusable UI components.
* Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for front-end applications.
* Proficiency in Docker for development and deployment workflows.
* Experience integrating RESTful APIs
