Experienced Wind Farm Engineer Needed!

This role involves working as a consultant and engineer in the feasibility, development, construction monitoring, and commissioning of wind farms on an international level.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Acting as expert consultant in the projection and development of wind farm projects for large private project developer clients (IPPs) and investment funds as property engineer, as well as for national, international, and multilateral financial institutions (IFIs and DFIs) and national utilities as independent technical advisor.
2. Serve as an Expert Wind Consultant on Wind Resource, Energy Yield Assessments, Wind Turbines, and overall Project Management.
3. Responsible for feasibility studies during the project development phase, including wind resource analysis, preliminary wind farm design (layout) with identification of the most appropriate turbines on the market, calculation of the expected electricity production, definition of the necessary ancillary infrastructure (BoP – Balance of Plant), as well as estimation of CAPEX investment and OPEX operating costs.
4. Prepare or supervise during the execution phase, drafting of the technical specifications to be included in the tender documents, evaluate the EPC/IPP bids, and review/validate the executive design prior to construction.
5. Intervene in the supervision of the construction and commissioning of the wind farms.
6. As part of the ILF Group Wind Competence Center, advise and support the international offices in any wind technology project development and implementation.

Qualification:
1. Bachelor's degree in the field of energy (Master's level), energy, electrical, or industrial engineering, ideally with specialization in wind/renewable energy; experience in storage systems (BESS) is an asset.
2. 5 years of experience in consultancy or design and development of wind farms and renewable electricity production, combined with a very good technical understanding and knowledge of the state of the art of the major wind turbine manufacturers.
3. Experience with Wind/Pro software, OpenWind, and other wind farm design tools.
