Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with leadership potential who’s passionate about software quality and knows how to drive it across teams. You'll play a critical role in building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks—primarily using Playwright —while fostering a culture of continuous testing and improvement.
You’ll lead by example, collaborating with developers, product owners, and fellow QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery. If you have experience in AI/ML testing or are curious about applying AI to automate test case generation and maintenance, that’s a big plus.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright for end-to-end, API, and UI testing (supported by AI, when possible).
Lead the QA efforts in your team, defining test strategies and ensuring coverage across user stories and system components.
Define test plans and write efficient, maintainable, and scalable automated test cases using proven test design techniques.
Drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines).
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and fix issues, identify flaky tests, and maintain test reliability (using AI, when possible).
Coach and support QA engineers on test strategy, automation practices, and tooling.
Monitor and report on test results, coverage, regressions, and product quality metrics through dashboards.
Reproduce and analyze bugs from customer reports and internal testing, helping prioritize fixes.
Optional but valuable: contribute to AI-driven QA initiatives, such as:
Using AI agents to auto-generate test cases and test data.
Self-healing test automation and intelligent defect detection.
QA automation for ML/AI-based systems (e.g., model performance, bias detection, LLM validation).
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
Proven expertise in Playwright or similar tools, with hands-on experience building and scaling test frameworks.
Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into the delivery cycle.
Familiar with agile/SCRUM environments and the QA role in iterative development.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. You’re proactive about identifying quality issues and proposing solutions.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset—you work well across disciplines.
A natural mentor or team lead, or ready to step into a leadership position.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
Experience with AI-driven testing tools or custom-built AI agents for test case generation and maintenance.
Background in testing AI/ML systems, including model accuracy, fairness, and performance validation.
Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and responsible AI testing practices.
Knowledge of self-healing test frameworks or flaky test detection via AI.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
ISTQB, TMap or similar certification is a plus.
