Senior Group Financial Controller
Madrid
Madrid, Community of Madrid, ES
The Group Finance team is called “PBRC” (Planning, Budget, Results, Central) and is based in two locations, in Paris and Madrid. This department is dedicated to analyzing, commenting, and reporting the financial information delivered to Group Management (Group CEO, Group CFO, and Group Board) and to external parties (mostly shareholders, analysts, auditors, and supervisors). This department operates under the control of the Group CFO of AXA Group.
PBRC is the owner of all major Finance processes at Group level and is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 actual accounts and forecast analyses, as well as for the production of the Group annual report. PBRC also reassesses the relevance and content of various financial indicators, adjusting them when appropriate in a cost-efficient manner and leads the “PBR” family within the Group.
Within PBRC, the Group Consolidation team oversees compiling and preparing the AXA Group IFRS Financial Statements (actual plan) and the Solvency 2 Pillar 3 (“S2P3”) regulatory reporting on a quarterly basis. This includes regular interactions with entities to review and control the IFRS statements and the S2P3 reporting delivered, and to support entities in any accounting and consolidation topics. The team prepares instructions and coordinates the production of Group financial statements.
The Group Consolidation team interacts with other Group teams (Norms Actuaries, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Legal, and Investment/ALM Investment teams), as well as with other key external stakeholders such as Auditors and Regulators. The Group Consolidation team consists of junior and senior Controllers based in Madrid under the supervision of the Head of the Consolidation team. Each controller is responsible for specific transversal tasks.
