JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of the Account Manager reports to the Area Manager and is responsible for developing and establishing strong relationships with hotel partners ensuring they have a clear understanding of HBX value proposition and the different tools to maximize their revenue growth with us. Building rapport and trust via a consultative approach with partners is a crucial aspect of an Account Manager’s role in their portfolio management.
This role is also responsible for ensuring they meet or exceed performance and financial targets and focuses on driving profitability and differentiation as a competitive advantage as well as joint-value proposals to foster long-term relationships.
Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Building:
o Acting as the primary point of contact for hotel partners and management companies.
o Building rapport and knowledge-based trust.
o Drive joint-value catered to partner needs.
o Attending industry events and engaging in networking opportunities to strengthen relationships.
o Ensure the supplier has a clear understanding of Hotelbeds and its possibilities (Marketing packages, Markets and clients promotions, tools and new processes) that optimize the income of each hotel.
2. Portfolio and Performance Management:
o Monitoring the Performance and KPIs for each hotel and cluster, working closely with the Yield Manager.
o Identify opportunities via comprehensive market trends analysis.
o Assist in regular performance reviews with the Yield Manager and line manager.
3. Strategy Implementation and Delivery:
o Implement and deploy the strategic plans communicated by the Regional Managers and Area managers.
o Work on strategic account planning.
o Support the Ecosystem integration by tailoring the product offering to each partner's needs.
4. Contracting Quality Negotiation & Optimization:
o Understand your portfolio’s potential and adapt the overall proposal to meet partners' needs.
o Identify key elements to improve overall contracting quality.
o Negotiate differentiated conditions to ensure competitive advantages with key partners.
5. Collaboration:
o Work closely with the yield manager towards mutual goals.
o Maintain close relationships with other account managers.
6. Tools & Processes Adoption:
o Ensure the usage and adoption levels of the company tools.
o Collaborate on standardization across the region.
Requirements:

o Previous experience in commercial roles with direct client contact.
o Previous experience in contracting and negotiation.
3. Qualifications:
o Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Tourism Management or similar.
o Proficient level of English; any additional language is a plus.
