Your mission
We are looking for a person to join our Circular Economy and Environment department, within the area of Technologies.
What you will do?
* Participation in R&D projects (preparation and execution) as a member of research groups or as a Principal Investigator in the field of Circular Economy:
* Identification of project ideas (own or from clients).
* Preparation of project proposals.
* Execution and coordination of projects.
* Preparation of project reports.
* Visiting relevant clients for AIMPLAS related to the sector.
* Participation in dissemination activities: technical conferences, congresses, informative articles in newsletters and magazines of the sector, etc.
* Participation in training activities related to knowledge.
Your profile
High analytical skills, organisation, planning, initiative, creativity, leadership, flexibility, adaptation to changes, customer orientation, teamwork and vocation for people (cooperation and empathy) are elements that we look for in any position at AIMPLAS.
Education required:
* Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
* Master's degree in Polymeric Materials and Composites Technologies or Waste Management preferred.
* Demonstrable high level of English.
Complementary education:
* Complementary training in ISO standards related to environmental management, life cycle analysis, carbon footprint and circular economy.
Experience:
* Experience in the following fields:
* Waste management and experience in issues related to compliance with technical legislation in the plastics sector, environmental legislation or related topics or sectors.
* Knowledge of eco-design, traceability, certifications, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon footprinting
* Experience in the preparation of R&D projects in the framework of public calls for proposals will be an asset.
* Availability to travel occasionally.
* B1 driving licence.
