The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp-up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations take care of all production-related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing, and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production, and plant management are also key elements within the area of operations.
The Supplier and Spare Parts Expert in the Maintenance Department is responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement, management, and optimization of spare parts and coordinating supplier relationships to support maintenance operations.
This role focuses on ensuring the availability of critical components, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining high standards of supplier performance. The position requires technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and familiarity with modern tools like SAP.
How You Will CELLebrate
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality spare parts and maintenance-related services.
* Monitor the supplier performance based on cost, quality, and delivery reliability metrics.
* Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of spare parts to meet maintenance demands.
* Develop and implement standardized processes for spare parts procurement and inventory management.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
* Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams for problem-solving processes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
What You Need For Our CELLebration
* Higher technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, supply chain management, or related fields).
* Proficiency in SAP or similar inventory and procurement management systems.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory optimization, and supplier evaluation.
* Familiarity with maintenance standards and best practices (e.g., TPM, RCM).
* Understanding of occupational health and safety standards in Spain is a plus.
What Else Can You Bring
* Please submit your CV in English.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier management, spare parts management, or a related role.
* Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Chinese is considered an advantage.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally, including trips to China.
