The Position
Headquartered in Spain with locations in Madrid, London and Lisbon, Keepler is extending its market position across Europe and specifically in the UK & Ireland. The task is to find a strong and experienced ‘Account Sales Manager‘ in Spain with proven account development skills, focused on midsize and large enterprises. Experience and relationships with the Hyperscale Cloud partners and experience in selling AI and data & analytics solutions will be an advantage.
He / she will be responsible for growing and developing the Keepler business significantly to achieve the ambitious financial targets today and tomorrow.
The main responsibility will be to develop and grow existing accounts leveraging Keepler's value selling framework and services offerings. The jobholder ensures alignment with Keepler's corporate sales objectives and strategies.
The Account Sales Manager will help Keepler’s customers leverage state-of-the-art Cloud & Data Analytics and AI technologies to innovate and enable them to become data driven, making them more competitive, agile and resilient by integrating data into corporate processes in the form of data products.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
* The Account Sales Manager is responsible for growing the business within a well-defined ideal customer profile and thriving against key competitors by developing Keepler as a strategic partner.
* He / She will work closely with Cloud Partner Sales Organisations (AWS, Google mainly) to develop a pipeline and create new opportunities with existing customers.
* She / he understands the customer value drivers, current challenges, and the positive business outcomes the customers want to achieve.
* She / he will work with the customer and Keepler's technical team to translate the outcomes into required capabilities that can be met by Keepler’s services and solutions to help them achieve their outcomes.
* She / he will be expected to have a good understanding of Keepler's existing customer references and the value Keepler has created.
* Promote and sell offers, solutions and services in line with the development strategy of Keepler, always focusing on value selling.
* Develop business and account plans for the targeted customer base.
* Develop revenue with bookings on targeted customer accounts.
* Establish relationships with key stakeholders at a strategic level to identify business challenges and opportunities to sell Keepler’s capability and ROI (‘Value proposition’), providing customers a strategic and competitive advantage.
* Overall account management including detailed account planning, sales forecasting, and communication within the team and customer.
* Maintain high levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction.
* Pipeline management: Build, monitor and orchestrate sales pipelines to ensure continuous population of near, mid and long-term opportunities; manage the size, shape and quality of the pipeline; analyze overall win rates and win/loss ratios.
Professional Requirements and Experiences
* 5-10 years of IT / Cloud / Data sales experience in closing new business and carrying quota in Spain.
* Previous experience in IT professional services projects related to AI, Data & Analytics.
* Experience working with AWS and/or Google Cloud in Spain.
* Demonstrable success in developing large company accounts.
* Ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
* Proven track record of consistent customer growth and quota achievement in IT sales.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent team player.
* Knowledge of core cloud computing concepts including compute, storage, database and higher order capabilities like microservices, analytics, serverless and machine learning.
