About the job: For our growing division Corporate in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain), we are looking for a Treasury Manager and Business Controller Spain. Reporting to the Country Controller Spain, your mission will be to manage the day-to-day activities of the Business Controller areas within the organization to ensure tasks are delivered accurately and on time. This includes providing feedback on actuals, deviations, best practices, and trends.
Responsibilities
1. Advise other Company’s departments: analysis and experience to develop business and financial recommendations, provide budget feedback, and assist in key financial decisions and strategies.
2. Perform financial analysis: complete regular analysis, identify and manage financial risk, complete research, perform economic and overall performance analysis, and manage financial data.
3. Report financial findings: report findings and work with financial and executive staff to make decisions, complete regular reviews, deliver accurate reports, and develop and give presentations.
4. Participate in internal audits supporting deviations solutions and action plan implementation.
5. Participate in external audits providing information about deviations and changes.
6. Follow up on PL impacts by analyzing data and preparing reports and specific tools.
7. Assure the correct impact of Stock movements in PL and BS.
8. Assure correct expense recognition in the PL (invoices, accruals or deferred expenses) and allocation of these expenses in the correct GBU.
9. Match, analyze, and investigate Purchase Price Variances and deviations.
10. Reconcile and analyze the COGS and investigate differences if any.
11. Analyze manufacturing results in PL and check the Bill of Materials to ensure STD accuracy.
12. Internal transfer impact analysis/reconciliation.
13. Adjust allocation to recognize each GBU profit.
14. Analyze inventory valuation and oversee the physical count of the inventory.
15. Manage and report local Treasury resources (daily, variance, CFF).
16. Ensure the bank account structure is correct for the local country and manage relationships with banking and financial providers.
What we ask for
1. University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
2. More than 5 years of professional experience in Finance and Treasury.
3. Experience in a multinational environment.
4. Knowledge in analytical and cost accounting.
5. Business fluent English language.
6. Proactive communication with colleagues.
7. IT skills and good knowledge in IT tools to establish and develop cost control and reporting (Excel, Hyperion, Business Warehouse).
8. Solid knowledge in reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
