Join Our Mission to Revolutionize Space Technology
We are on a mission to revolutionize space technology at Deimos. Our Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision (AICV) Competence Centre is where innovation meets excellence.
The Challenge:
As a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Processing Analyst, you will lead and contribute to the development of cutting-edge algorithms for processing SAR data.
* Designing, developing, and enhancing high-quality SAR processing models using traditional processing techniques.
* Collaborating with machine learning engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to integrate machine learning solutions with traditional SAR techniques for improved performance.
* Coordinating dataset generation and validation to ensure data and labels are physically consistent with the underlying SAR problem and compatible with machine learning tasks.
* Evaluating the quality of the processing pipeline for SAR image formation, data compression, feature extraction, and classification based on current state-of-the-art techniques.
You will work closely with our team to present and document results, progress, and findings for technical reviews, external stakeholders, and conferences.
What We're Looking For:
Technical Skills:
* Experience in radar data processing, including image formation, pre- and post-processing techniques.
* Strong understanding of signal processing, Fourier analysis, and SAR-specific image formation algorithms.
* Experience with data augmentation, feature extraction, and model evaluation techniques specific to radar data.
Additional Valued Skills:
* Understanding of Machine Learning and Computer Vision techniques.
* Experience working on aerospace-related projects.
* Experience with Linux systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
* Experience developing embedded ML applications (C++, CUDA, TensorRT).
Educational Background:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, GIS, Machine Learning, Data Science, Physics, or related fields.
Professional Experience:
The position will be tailored to the level of experience.
Language Skills:
* Good level of English, spoken and written.
