Coordinator Shared IT Products
Vorwerk Services GmbH provides IT services for the Vorwerk Group. The Vorwerk Group, which is still a family-owned company, is one of the largest direct sales companies worldwide. Vorwerk´s core business is the production and sale of innovative premium household appliances. The portfolio also consists of commercial cleaning, financing solutions as well as a venture capital company. Today, the globally active Vorwerk Group has around 11,000 employees in over 60 countries.
Your responsibilities:
* Business Relationship Management: Establishing close relationships with local business stakeholders and in particular with local IT managers and central IT (Group IT of Vorwerk).
* Business Relationship Management: Building and managing the community of central and local IT, communicating global IT initiatives and projects. Mediator between business and IT as well as networked working (across countries and companies) to identify and exploit synergies, especially within the community.
* Coordinating local IT interests with central IT to ensure that they are taken into account when planning and implementing global projects or initiatives.
* Consulting of IT product owners and of local IT managers in negotiating demands and projects prioritization: collection of new local requirements to pre-analyse and coordinate these between the different IT products of the central IT (Group IT).
* Support for the IT product owners, particularly in communicating the project portfolio to the local IT organizations, business partners and other stakeholders in the local Vorwerk companies.
* Management of escalations and conflicts between the central IT and local ITs of Vorwerk.
* IT Project Management: Support of IT project teams in different IT Products, in particular with regard to communication with the local IT units. Ensure that local IT requirements are considered in central IT projects where necessary.
You offer us:
* Degree from a university of applied sciences (at least a bachelor's degree) or comparable qualification.
* At least three years of professional experience in a global IT context, ideally with responsibility for managing international teams or local IT departments.
* Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills.
* Leadership and coordination skills in a global, multilingual and multicultural IT environment (Europe, India, China, USA)
* Advanced English level.
