Based in Switzerland and with 200 years’ experience it offers products for surveying and geographical measurement and is the global market leader for geodetic instruments.Hexagon is a global leader in sensors, software and autonomous solutions and has approximately 21k employees in 50 countries.Hexagon’s Geosystems division provides a comprehensive portfolio of digital solutions that capture, measure, and visualize the physical world and enable data-driven transformation across industry ecosystems.ROLE & PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:As a Global Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you play a crucial role in the organization by contributing to the production of high-quality financial reports, ensuring timely compliance with regulations, and improving accounting processes and controls.DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:Act as a sparring partner to finance managers globally, providing technical expertise and assistance on accounting and reporting matters (accounting, finance, IFRS, tax, VAT, etc.).Train and support the global business services team members and the finance managers globally in accounting, IFRS, SAP knowledge, and quality aspects.Support the group accounting team by drafting and reviewing policies and reporting instructions and solving issues during the monthly closing.Support the month-end closing process and ensure timely and high-quality financial reporting for all entities in the scope of the global business services.Perform quality review of financial information before submission for consolidation as well as during the consolidation process.Coordinate the financial audit process (group and statutory audits) globally.Oversee banking process globally, liaise with group treasury and manage bank access rights.Participate in global finance projects as project manager, coordinator, or contributor.Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of regulatory reporting.Liaise between global business services and the business/controlling community concerning new reporting or regulatory requirements and business needs.Review, standardise, and monitor internal controls globally within the finance processes and improve quality in accounting and reporting.Support accounting automation and improvement projects globally as an accounting expert.QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCEChartered accountant, CPA or similar.4+ years of experience in an international audit firm, working with customers in the technology, software services or manufacturing industries.Exposure to foreign jurisdictions.IFRS knowledge and practical experience.Practical tax knowledge.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with SAP and OneStream (preferable).Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex issues in a simple and understandable way.Proactive attitude and ability to work in a demanding and changing environment.WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive remuneration package: fixed part + bonus paid 2 times a year in March and September.
