Tetra Pak Spain is looking for a bright and motivated person for the position of Production Engineer, within our production team. The successful candidate will be based in Sevilla, Spain and will report to the Production Manager.
What you will do
Be responsible for analyzing losses to ensure reliability of process/ production line:
* Data review and root cause analysis to address sporadic and chronic issues.
* Establish clear KPIs and monitoring tools to track performance.
* Regularly review KPI to ensure data reliability and identify losses and prevent them.
Take prompt action to solve problems ensuring safety, quality & machine efficiency:
* Implement standard operational procedures (SOPs) to avoid recurrence.
* Ensure communication within the department and organization.
Assure knowledge and capability of production people and balance knowledge among teams:
* Identify skill gaps and training needs and create working procedures that cover all skills for all production positions.
Management and coordination of resources in production shifts:
* Ensure that work shifts have the necessary resources to manage all lines. Develop contingency plans for unexpected lack of resources.
* Manage communication with temporary employment agencies, attend meetings and handle the factory's resource needs.
WCM Activities in the Factory:
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including improvement teams such as Kaizen, PDCA, loss analyses, and pillar activities, mainly AM Pillar.
We believe you have
* At least 2-3 years’ experience in production.
* Strong background in WCM analysis and tools.
* Analytical and expert in Process Parameters measurement and improvement techniques.
* Preferred experience in Quality/ Other Production process/ Maintenance or WCM.
* Knowledge of planning systems, production systems, digital systems, and SAP is beneficial.
