Job Description
* Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and analyses as required by management.
* Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
o Ensure timely processing and payment of invoices.
o Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
* Tax Compliance:
o Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with government regulations.
o Monitor tax obligations and ensure timely remittance.
* Payroll Processing: Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations and disbursements.
* Audit Preparation: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
* Financial Analysis: Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
* Policy Implementation: Enforce compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial support for operations and projects.
Qualifications
* Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
o CPA certification is a strong advantage.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms). Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to analyze financial data and create meaningful reports.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for report writing and liaising with other departments.
* Interpersonal Skills: Team player with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
* Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
* Advantageous: Familiarity with construction project costing and inventory management. Experience in implementing or improving financial systems and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php14,997.92 - Php15,340.00 per month
