Pharma company is looking for a Senior Pricing Controller. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
1. Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with company objectives, analyze market trends, and monitor competitor pricing to optimize profitability.
2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable rates with carriers, vendors, and other stakeholders to minimize expenses and maximize profit margins.
3. Identify and quantify the costs associated with freight forwarding services, including transportation, handling, customs clearance, and insurance, to ensure accurate pricing.
4. Maintain updated information and analysis of standard costs of new products/processes.
5. Negotiate contracts with customers and vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to company policies.
6. Develop and maintain pricing models that accurately reflect the cost of services and generate profitable pricing for various freight forwarding services.
7. Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, including profitability targets, market penetration goals, and customer segmentation.
8. Adapt pricing strategies in real-time to reflect changes in market conditions, fuel costs, and other relevant factors.
9. Prepare pricing reports, analyze data, and provide insights to senior management on pricing trends, market dynamics, and the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
10. Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and to provide pricing support for sales initiatives.
11. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to ensure pricing strategies remain competitive and effective and identify opportunities for optimization.
12. Communicate pricing policies and strategies to relevant stakeholders, including sales teams, customers, and senior management.
Requirements (M/F/D):
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in pricing or revenue management.
3. Expertise in pricing strategies, cost analysis, and market research.
4. Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
9. Familiarity with pricing software and databases.
