Pepper Group Spain is investing in the development of a loan servicing platform and broader eco system with the aspiration to provide the modular elements of the platform to internal and third party customers on a SaaS basis.
About the role
The Developer will be a member of the IT Solution Delivery team, working remotely from Spain with the Dublin office, and will be responsible for the development of enhancements to existing applications, design of new solutions and migrations of loan portfolios to existing systems.
Location: Madrid, Spain.
Your responsibilities
* Project Migration Management: Ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions for project migrations and perform debugging to identify and resolve issues during migration processes.
* Development Excellence: Enhance existing applications with high-quality coding and design new solutions to meet business requirements.
* Support and Transition: Provide support during handover to the IT Apps support team and collaborate for a seamless transition.
* Process Optimization: Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives, participating in debugging and development work.
* New Systems Integration: Support new systems' integration until full handover, engaging in debugging and contributing to design and development.
* Documentation and Quality Assurance: Produce clear technical documents, take ownership of tasks, promptly identify system issues, and deliver defect-free solutions.
Your skills
* 3rd level IT related qualification.
* 5+ years of relevant experience.
* Advanced SQL knowledge (preferably Microsoft SQL Server).
* Proficiency in GIT and other source control systems.
* Experience in C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, Blazor, .Net Core, Winforms.
* Familiarity with Jenkins and Azure.
