Your role within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Team is to maintain and develop Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) business with existing and new customers in line with the Iberia Business Manager and business strategies in your defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market.
This position will cover the Basque Country territory, and you will be expected to be located in Bilbao.
Responsibilities
* Analyzing the marketplace, developing an effective territory/account sales strategy, and presenting the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
* Performing all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation. As well as identifying, preparing, and executing upcoming tenders.
* Identifying and addressing all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) and key opinion leaders in all accounts and report on them via the provided systems and personally to the district manager on a regular basis.
* Further increase penetration in existing accounts, developing existing accounts into potential new product therapies/patient therapies and develop actual non-buying accounts.
* Providing technical support to customers (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists) and support procedures when required, and ensure that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled, according to the asset management guidelines and targets.
* Planning and preparing sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy for the territory along with proposed meetings/customer activities and investments.
* Reporting and regularly updating all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete, and timely fashion.
* Carrying out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner, (i.e., customer reports, stock reports, monthly reports, etc.).
Must Haves
* Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or other relevant degree
* At least 2 years of selling experience in the medical device industry
* At least 2 years of experience in the Electrophysiology field
* Fluency in English
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processing
* Self-motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
* Competitive and winning mindset
* Full clean driver license
Nice to Haves
* 3D mapping experience is highly valued
* Marketing knowledge is valuable
