Trade Finance Graduate - Ebury Leon
Work Pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home
As part of the Trade Finance Operational Team, you will be responsible for approving new requests to finance the purchase of goods or provision of services in line with company policies, processes, and procedures. You will conduct appropriate due diligence checks on transactions to mitigate any risk involving Trade Based Money Laundering, Fraud, and Sanctions.
This is a hybrid role of Operations and Client Servicing for Trade Finance, so you will need to be an effective communicator, with the ability to take ownership of client issues and remain accountable through to completion.

Responsibilities:
* Processing of new Trade Finance requests promptly and efficiently to facilitate the trade process.
* Carrying out appropriate due diligence checks on transactions in line with company AML, Fraud, and Sanctions policies and escalating where required.
* Providing a good level of customer service to clients, acting on their instructions in accordance with internal procedures.
* Conducting screening on Trade Finance transactions and ensuring alerts are reviewed and discounted appropriately, in line with company policies and procedures.
* Completing tasks allocated by the line manager with focus and in a timely manner.
* Communicating the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, and escalating problems swiftly as needed.
* Responding to client queries relating to transactions and/or accounts in a timely manner.
* Ensuring all transactions processed are in accordance with all internal policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Practice good office etiquette through punctuality, attendance, and behavior.
* Proactive, with the ability to work within strict time-frames and under pressure.
* Diligent, with good attention to detail.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Co-operative, and comfortable working in a team environment.
* Curious and eager to learn, actively asking questions to confirm understanding of processes and procedures.
