Anteverti is hiring! We are looking for a motivated and proactive professional to join our team of Consultancy Services. The Consultant & Business Developer will support the consulting department in implementing projects, identifying new business opportunities; preparing proposals; leading applications to bidding processes; supporting relationships with clients; and providing expertise in consultancy projects.
Expected starting date in March 2025.
Required education and experience:
* University degree (BA), but a post-graduate degree (MA) is preferred (Urban Planning, Business, Political Science, Engineering, Economy, Law, Environmental Studies, Sociology, International Relations, ICT, or related degrees).
* Minimum of 1- 2 years of work experience in strategic consulting for cities, public administrations and/or the private sector.
* Relevant experience in business development, proposal preparation and client meetings, as well as previous experience preparing, presentations, reports or concept notes will be highly valued.
* Experience in strategic plans, sustainable urban renewal, socioeconomic innovation, and benchmark research will be highly valued.
* Experience in EU tenders and programs, such as European Urban Initiative, New European Bauhaus and Horizon Europe, will be positively valued
* Educational and professional experiences abroad, together with a strong interest and experience in the field of Smart cities, will be highly valued.
Desired skills:
The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, critical thinking, proactivity and problem-solving skills. Perfect fluency in English and Spanish is required, and good fluency in Catalan is desirable, together with Office Package literacy.
The selected consultant is expected to be a dynamic and cooperative team player with the ability to think and work independently and on tight deadlines, as well as to adapt to changing priorities with flexibility. We are looking for a reliable, well-organised and committed person that shows attention to detail, good diplomacy and both interpersonal and time management skills.
Anteverti offers:
· Conditions of appointment: permanent contract. Full time (40 hours per week).
