Grupo Mambo is looking for a manager for a new catering division.
We are looking for a Catering Manager with proven experience in managing food and beverage catering companies, both for exclusive small-format events and large celebrations, including weddings.
This position is part of a larger company within the gastronomic and hospitality sector, so we are looking for a professional with strategic vision, leadership skills, and commercial abilities to grow this division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, attract clients, and promote catering services in different markets.
- Event Management: Coordinate and ensure the flawless execution of catering events, guaranteeing high-quality service on every occasion.
- Operational Coordination: Oversee all logistical, operational, and administrative aspects of the catering division, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Collaboration with the Executive Chef: Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop attractive gastronomic proposals tailored to each client's needs.
- Team Supervision: Lead and manage the catering team, ensuring continuous training and excellence in service.
- Budget Management: Control costs, optimize resources, and ensure the financial objectives of the division are met.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards in all events and operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing catering for luxury events and large celebrations.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies for the catering sector.
- Team management and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously, with great attention to detail.
- Experience in budget management and cost optimization.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with clients and suppliers.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling.
Experience in table and bar service.
