The Position
We are looking for a Senior Consolidation Reporting Analyst for our Group Finance team to work together on different initiatives related to accounting and consolidation by focusing on process improvement and implementation.
This is a temporary role intended to cover maternity leave, with an immediate start required. Ideal for candidates seeking impactful, short-term assignments.
Responsibilities
* Support financial statements consolidation in line with SP GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS
* Conduct technical discussions with the external auditors
* Support trend and gap analysis and develop and implement process improvements based on the analysis performed
* Evaluate the impact of business changes and new policies on local GAAP vs. IFRS financial statements
* Draft and update work-related documentation and accounting guidelines
* Provide support to external and internal audit teams, as required, in connection with UK GAAP, IFRS consolidation year-end audit, controls testing and any other ad-hoc audit queries
* Take initiative and actively participate in optimization projects on the various processes and for the various regions in the Group
You have…
* At least 3-5 years of previous experience in a Big 4, auditing Tech companies, scale-ups, and publicly listed entities
* At least 3 years of experience as a consolidation analyst or senior analyst
* Technical knowledge and experience in preparing consolidation of financial statements, consolidation adjustments and having worked in an HQ/Group function of large companies
* Previous involvement in an annual group audit
* Preparation of external reporting and consolidated annual accounts
* Strong Excel skills and finance system skills
* Experience with Spanish GAAP and IFRS
* Full fluency in English is a must

* Experience in a HQ/group accounting function
* An adaptable and eager skillset to deliver on multiple competing deadlines
* Experience leading teams and participating in cross-functional projects
* Experienced using ERP systems (Netsuite preferable, but not essential)
* Experience in systems implementation
* Preparation of external reporting and internal reporting to senior management
