Mission
Lead the Remote Operation Center (ROC) and Technical Asset Management (AM) teams, ensuring technical and operational excellence across renewable assets in the different markets. The role is directly responsible for operational results, overseeing the performance of the ROC, a specialized team of operators, engineers, and IT professionals who supervise and coordinate energy generation asset operations to maximize in a sustainable manner the energy production and the lifetime of the assets.
Responsibilities
* Leadership of ROC and AM Teams: Lead and manage the ROC and AM teams sitting in the Regions to achieve operational excellence and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Define clear goals and KPIs for the teams and ensure their achievement.
* Operational Oversight and Responsibility: Take full ownership of operational outcomes, ensuring the availability, efficiency, and reliability of renewable energy assets. Oversee the implementation and monitoring of technical standards across operations.
* Performance Optimization: Analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to optimize asset performance. Ensure the application of best practices and innovative solutions to maximize energy production and minimize downtime.
* Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all technical and operational processes comply with local and global regulations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Zelestra in industry forums and partnerships to strengthen technical expertise and positioning.
* Innovation and Digital Transformation: Drive digitalization initiatives and automation processes within the ROC to enhance efficiency and scalability. Lead the adoption of advanced technologies, including AI and machine learning, for predictive maintenance and operational improvements.
* Team Development and Talent Management: Develop the capabilities of the ROC and AM teams through mentoring, training, and strategic workforce planning. Foster a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Critical Incident Management: Lead the response to critical incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimizing operational impact. Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
Job Requirements
Educational Background
* Degree in Industrial, Energy, or Electrical Engineering, or related fields. A master’s degree in Renewable Energy, Asset Management, or Business Administration is highly valued.
Professional Experience
* Minimum 10 years of experience in technical and operational management of renewable assets, including leadership roles.
* Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering operational results in a global environment.
* Strong experience with SCADA systems, data analysis tools, and ROC platforms.
Technical and Soft Skills
* Advanced proficiency in English.
* In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, and storage).
* Expertise in operational data analysis and performance improvement strategies. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
* Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure and in complex situations.
