The HR Director will be responsible for leading the Human Resources strategy and operations across the organization. This role ensures alignment of the HR agenda with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and a high-performance culture across the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic HR Leadership :
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on workforce planning, capability building, and organizational design.
* Talent Management :
Lead end-to-end talent management initiatives including recruitment, succession planning, performance management, and leadership development.
* Employee Relations & Culture :
Champion a strong, safety-oriented and inclusive workplace culture;
ensure effective employee relations, communication, and conflict resolution.
* Compliance & Policies :
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions.
* Compensation & Benefits :
Oversee the design and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation structures.
* Change Management :
Support business transformation initiatives and restructuring processes, ensuring smooth transitions and employee alignment.
* HR Operations :
Optimize HR systems, analytics, and processes for efficiency and scalability.
* Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team and business units.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (Master's preferred).
* +10 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, ideally in the Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial sectors.
* Proven track record in driving HR strategy in complex, fast-paced environments with union and non-unionized workforces.
* Strong knowledge of labor regulations and international HR practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with HR systems and analytics.
* Fluency in English;
additional languages are a plus.
