MY TASKS:
* Ensure during Project Construction Activities the implementation of HSE actions to avoid occupational diseases and accidents, environmental incidents and damage to property and ensure the physical integrity of employees and create a safe working environment.
* Ensuring compliance with national/local legislation in the Health, Safety and Environment area, procedures and disciplines and from Nordex guidance’s, in addition to ensuring that all customers’ requirements are applied and fulfilled on the Site in accordance with that was agreed between the parts (Nordex and Customer) in the PSSMA document.
* Supervision and control of compliance with local HSE and NAW standards by contractors and subcontractors, the safety plan and the correct use of safety means at the disposal of subcontractors (PPE, equipment, tools, etc.), through the realization of audits, according to the defined periodicity.
* Support and work directly with the HSE Country Manager, the Corporate Operations HSE representative and the global Operations HSE members in all projects for the implementation of new wind farms.
* Attend all periodical project meetings required.
* Support the interface with local government agencies at the federal, state and municipal levels and NAW group audits related to the project in progress.
* Participation in work meetings to discuss issues related of accident prevention, when requested by the Site Manager.
* Lead and coordinate HSE team project (People Management).
* Ensure follow up to Nordex sustainability requirements and keep monitoring and reporting.
* Lead / Guidance the local HSE teams of Nordex, customers and subcontractors during the investigation of accidents and High Potential (HIPO) incidents that may occur.
* Participation to the Plan of Day with Operational team to review the task of the day and related risks having all risks identified and tackle.
* Prepare and distribute HSE statistics and injury rates for evaluation.
* Identify and report on a daily basis unsafe situations and unsafe acts and take immediate actions.
* Responsible for local support to Safety Technicians in the elaboration of safety reports informative and sending the HSE Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to HSE Country Manager within the required deadlines.
* Lead the meetings and discussions related to the Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) and the Environment (ISO 14001). Support in the execution of internal audits (corporative, normative and certification), external audits of 2nd part (customers auditing NAW) and 3rd part (recertification carried out with independent consultants).
* Support HSE management for ensuring HSE requirements (Nordex, country, client) before the beginning of the activities on site; List of legal requirements applicable, Subcontractors homologation process, Safety plan approval, etc.
* Support and develop accident prevention procedures for the NAW group: Develop prevention policies, Routine Inspections, Safety Walk and participate in the planning of work safety and health campaigns.
* Participation in work meetings to discuss issues related of accident prevention, when requested by the Site Manager.
YOUR PROFILE:
* Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in industrial organization and management or similar HSE training; master, post-education Knowledge of ISO-14001, ISO-45001 & OHSA; desired in ISO-9001 Great organizational capacity, be synthetic, know how to plan, follow and pursue People and conflict management, persuasion, teamwork and communication Languages: high english level Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years in a similar position with successful management Availability to travel.
