Job Description
1. Manage and oversee SPA & Wellness operations
2. Ensure that the spa operates cost effectively and efficiently.
3. Implement inventory control procedures to ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained.
4. Develop budgets and short to long range strategic planning for the operation of the spa.
5. Develop the spa's standard operating procedures and policies.
6. Work with the Sales & Marketing team regarding all aspects of spa promotions.
7. Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions and sales techniques.
8. Understand the impact of department operations on the overall financial goals and objectives of the property and manages to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
9. Set a positive example in customer relations.
10. Interact with customers to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
11. Address customer problems and complaints.
12. Motivate employees to provide excellent customer service.
13. Emphasize customer satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement.
14. Strive to improve service performance.
15. Maintain a close relationship with the teams, always listening to identify and address employee issues or concerns and escalate them to the Director of Spa.
16. Drive the continuous training program so that employees receive adequate training to successfully perform their jobs.
17. Ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.
Qualifications
1. Bachelors Degree in Business and or Hospitality Management
2. Two years experience in a similar role in a 5 star spa with a multicultural team
3. Advanced level of English and Spanish.
4. Office package management.
5. Excellent writing, administration and customer service skills.
