Reporting to the director of Finance, this role will be responsible for managing the EMEA accounting close and the statutory audit. Key Responsibilitie Own the record-to-record process and manage the accounting close, statutory audit, and indirect tax compliance of the EMEA entities Manage the overall month end close tasks including review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure a timely and accurate close Analyse liquidity and profitability indicators and comment on the period-over-period fluctuations Be the main contact of external audits and manage the indirect tax compliance with fiduciaries Collaborate with tax and treasury team on EMEA tax planning and legal entity rationalization Coach, mentor, and develop the EMEA accounting team, and position the team for future success Instil a performance-driven culture and promote transparency, and inclusiveness in the workplace Support ad hoc projects as needed, such as process improvement and system implementation. Requirements BS/MS in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A strong people manager, with minimum of five years of people management experience. Experience working in a large global public company. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Proficiency in an additional language is highly desirable Hands on, detail-oriented, organized and structured. Strategic, able to see and understand the bigger picture.
