A Day in the Life
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Coronary and Renal Denervation (CRDN) team. Our products and therapies are used in the treatment of patients with Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension. The CRDN team are responsible for establishing Medtronic as ‘The Company’ to partner with to help Physicians reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease through leveraging our combined portfolio. To aid this vision there is a constant focus on developing innovative solutions and a significant investment in R&D across the combined businesses with both businesses having a strong pipeline of products and solutions coming to market over the coming years.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Market Developer to join our CRDN Business Unit. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and executing marketing strategies to develop and maintain robust relationships with clinical, referrals, and economical stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of the renal denervation therapy at the account or territory level. You will facilitate access to the therapy and simplify patient pathways. You will demonstrate a strong focus on strategic thinking and customer engagement.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Analyses the hypertension marketplace, develops strategies
* Identifies and addresses all key decision makers (clinicals, referrals...) and key opinion leaders in all accounts
* Further increases penetration in existing accounts, develops existing accounts, and develops actual non-buying accounts
* Identifies and supports the implementation of patient pathway optimization programs
* Attends, participates, and communicates about presentations in key professional congresses and events as required
* Supports clinical activities on request
* Provides support and shares information with sales representatives and the marketing team
* Develops business models and determines local market trends to substantiate long-term prospects and approaches
* Ensures a clear understanding of clinical and economic benefits of increased therapy adoption.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Science, MBA or advanced degree preferred
* Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
* Knowledge of the Medical Industry
* Medical or therapy knowledge
* Some knowledge of renal denervation product lines
* Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles with a strong emphasis on relationship building and stakeholder engagement
* Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
