Job Purpose
DIGI IMSIPAL is looking for a senior technical consultant in our office in Madrid, Spain to ensure the correct implementation, maintenance, and customization of our company's equipment and solutions, through the development and adaptation of software, as well as the technical support of these solutions.
Profile Requirements
* Academic background: High Level Training Cycle related to the development of DAM, DAW, etc. applications or higher.
* Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in programming and technical support, including:
* Network configuration.
* Knowledge of industrial solutions related to weighing, labeling, and connectivity.
* Experience in POS systems.
* Knowledge of the Retail sector would be a plus.
* Experience in ESL and digital signage would be a plus.
* Essential Technical Knowledge: Key languages and technologies, including:
* Development of management and communications applications to integrate the machinery into the client's systems.
* SQL: Management of databases associated with labeling or weighing systems.
* Working environments: GNU/Linux and Windows operating systems.
* Additional Technical Competences: Basic knowledge in electronics for hardware-software integration.
* Spanish: mother tongue or bilingual.
* Fluent English (B2 or higher): Ability to read, write and communicate technically, interpret documentation, and translate it from English to Spanish and provide international support. Will attend training courses in English and visits from abroad.
* Personal Skills: Customer orientation, problem-solving, teamwork, proactivity and autonomy, and communication.
Key Job Duties
* Technical Support: Resolution of technical incidents related to our equipment and software, configuration and customization of devices, and remote or on-site assistance and installation.
* Programming and Development: Development of applications and scripts, implementation of integrated solutions, and software maintenance and upgrades.
* Testing and Validation: Software testing to ensure functionality, bug identification, and resolution.
* Documentation and Training: Creation of technical manuals and guides, and technical training to end users or internal teams.
Job Conditions
* Location: Office in Madrid, Spain.
* Availability to travel occasionally.
