We are looking for a Cost Controller & Planner Specialist for the Utility Scale department. The role will be responsible for the long-term economic planning and control of construction activities. It will also provide support in problem-solving and follow-up on EPC projects.
Responsibilities:
* Cost allocation, review of forecasts and invoices, and cash management at construction sites;
* Updating and maintaining documentation and budgets in the company ERP system, in coordination with the Finance Department;
* Verification of delivery notes, invoices, supplier contracts, and labor agreements, while reporting any irregularities in the documentation;
* Creation, verification, and updating of project cash flows in collaboration with the Project Manager;
* Organization and control of the document archive to ensure availability and accuracy;
* Project planning and scheduling with Gantt charts and analysis of S-curves using MS Project, defining and optimizing required resources;
* Monitoring project progress to identify delays and propose corrective actions;
* Coordination with various departments to integrate information into schedules;
* Preparation of schedules to measure physical progress and earned value;
* Development of planned, actual, and forecast S-curves based on project progress;
* Creation of schedules for new bids, based on data and insights from past projects.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields;
* Excellent spoken English skills;
* Knowledge of Spanish will be considered an asset;
* At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in engineering companies.
