We are actively recruiting a Territory Account Manager / Hospital Sales Representative on behalf of our international client, a global leader pharmaceutical laboratory company specializing in injectable products. This position aims to effectively drive the company’s growth in the competitive pharmaceutical market.
Location and Travel:
* 100% remote, with a focus on the province of Quebec (Candidate must be located in the East of Canada)
* Travelling is expected (1-2 administrative days to start with)
Missions:
* Establish and maintain solid relationships with hospital clients, hospitals and purchasing groups ensuring their needs are met and promoting the company’s injectable products.
* Ensure excellent customer service to customers, purchasing groups and other partners.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration within hospitals.
* Travel regularly to visit hospitals across the province of Quebec to foster relationships and close sales.
* Define growing strategies for the products and for potential markets.
* Analyse market trends to proactively target markets.
* Present product information clearly and persuasively to hospital staff and decision-makers.
* Document and prepare quotes for purchasing groups.
* Provide product information to customers.
* Perform sales tracking.
* Participate in budget process.
* Coordinate marketing efforts on products (promotional material, etc.).
* Represent company at professional meetings.
* Get involved in subsidiary implementation.
* Support team, as required.
* Execution of related tasks.
Requirements:
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in French, as the role is based in Quebec.
* Applicable diploma in administration, sales or marketing (university degree and/or pertinent experience).
* Strong track record of achieving sales targets with excellent negotiation skills.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in customer account management or related position.
* Purchasing group quote experience.
* A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities within the hospital market.
* Ability to work independently while being results-oriented.
Ideal candidate profile:
* A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
* A strong network within the healthcare sector, particularly with hospitals.
* Familiarity with injected and generic pharmaceutical products.
Abilities:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Dynamic and customer-service oriented.
* Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Ability to work independently while being results-oriented.
* Excellent organisational skills and thrives on challenges.
* Capable of managing several projects at the same time with a good capacity for time management and establishing priorities.
* Knowledge of usual software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).
* Perfectly bilingual (French and English, in writing and verbally).
