About the Role:
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful business decisions? Do you enjoy working at the intersection of finance and digital transformation? As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in the Group Reporting team, empowering our global Finance organization with cutting-edge reporting solutions.
This newly created position is part of our initiative to strengthen our team with digital capabilities, focusing on automating and enhancing our Finance reporting processes. Working in a matrix environment within a multinational company operating in over 100 countries, you will be instrumental in advancing our digital transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and Optimize Dashboards: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models to provide actionable insights.
2. Subject Matter Expertise: Become the go-to expert for the Finance BI platform within the Group Reporting team.
3. Innovate Digital Services: Build and improve digital reporting platform services, driving efficiency and user adoption.
4. Enhance Data Workflows: Partner with the Data + Tech team to define, maintain, and improve data pipelines and processes.
5. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Finance stakeholders worldwide to understand their needs and deliver self-service reporting solutions.
6. Align with Data Strategy: Partner with the Data + Tech team to ensure alignment with the company’s global data strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI (or similar tools).
2. Proven experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to define requirements and extract value from data.
3. Expertise in building and managing ETL data flows and data pipelines is an asset.
4. Exposure to BI consulting or similar client-facing roles is a plus.
Skills:
1. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including data visualization and DAX. You are capable of independently creating and assembling dashboards from start to finish. SQL knowledge is a plus.
2. Knowledge of data modeling principles, including the ability to design business-oriented data structures.
3. Experience with ETL tools and understanding of data integration processes is beneficial.
4. Innovative thinker with a passion for solving technical and business challenges.
5. Effective communicator capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
