At Deimos, we're pushing the boundaries of space technology, engaging in various projects involving the requirement definition, design, manufacturing, and verification of electronic units. We're on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team and support our mission by managing the complete life cycle of electronic products, including flight electronics and systems to support verification campaigns.What's the Challenge?As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for leading several projects, supporting the requirement definition, design, manufacturing, and verification of electronic units. You will ensure that electronic products meet the highest standards throughout their complete life cycle.Your Contributions Will Include:Taking responsibility for space hardware electronics from specification through to manufacturing and verification.Implementing relevant space analysis and design tools, such as Altium or equivalent.Applying New Space approaches and techniques.Conducting extensive EMC analysis and testing.Writing relevant design and requirements documentation.Working with ECSS and contributing to the coherent tailoring of ECSS for each project.Leading technical documents, including user-facing documentation.What We're Looking For:Technical skills:Proficiency in the complete life cycle of space hardware electronics, from specification to manufacturing and verification.Knowledge of relevant space analysis and design tools, such as Altium or equivalent.Familiarity with New Space approaches and techniques.Extensive experience in EMC analysis and testing.Experience in writing relevant design and requirements documentation.Ability to work with ECSS and contribute to the coherent tailoring of ECSS for specific projects.Strong technical writing skills, including user-facing documentation.Additional valued skills include:Knowledge of the systems and subsystems encompassing CubeSat.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, LUA, Shell, or other scripting languages.Familiarity with technical writing, including user-facing documentation.Educational background:Preferred degree in Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering.Professional Experience:3-10 years in relevant positions.Language Skills:English (B2 level minimum).Personal Attributes:Collaborative, trustworthy, open-minded, proactive, original, and inquisitive individual.What We Offer:
