Currently we are looking for a Vessel Software Lead for our client from the Oil & Gas industry.
MISSION :
* Coordinate and manage automation system on board the conventional and DP vessel, where experience and high level on automation knowledge is necessary.
* Be responsible for electronic correct operation/maintenance ensuring the respect of HSE company procedures.
TASKS :
* Supervise and monitor, with full autonomy, all automation systems related to the pipe/flex lay equipment, pipe handling, lifting appliances, and the rest of the systems connected to the production side.
* Monitor and control supervising on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
* Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedules.
* Propose to the Chief Engineer and Chief Electrician the required quantity of material stock levels, in order to maintain work continuity.
* Supervise the carrying out of work activities in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
* Ensure the efficiency of the electrical/electronic equipment.
* Coordinate the electrical team for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

Start date : To be confirmed (The contract starts on the Employee’s designated date of departure to Work location)
Duration : 31.12.2025 (renewable)
Rotation : 35 / 35 (35 paid working days followed by 35 unpaid leave days)
Working days/hours : 12 hours/day - 7 days/week

Flights : Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle.
Requirements :
* Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens PLC, in programming and troubleshooting.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the contractual scope of activities.
* Capability to follow and perform the commissioning on production machines for pipelay (vertical lay system equipment).
* Knowledge of Siemens control system and Tia portal.
* Familiar with IHC system.
