Job Description:
Join the Frontline of Security Defense!
Our team of experts is looking for curious and passionate minds dedicated to digital security. If you’re driven by staying ahead of the latest threats, enjoy investigating cyberattacks, and want to work with cutting-edge DDoS mitigation technologies, this is the place for you!
As a System Administrator, you will collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and Network Engineers to strengthen our defense platforms. Beyond DDoS mitigation, we also work with Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Zero Trust strategies, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
Here, innovation, curiosity, and autonomy are key. Expect an environment where your initiative and expertise truly matter.
Your Mission:
* Administer and troubleshoot high-availability and complex infrastructures, including participation in an on-call rotation.
* Improve and optimize our DDoS defense platforms, as well as attack analysis and visualization mechanisms.
* Monitor security threats, analyze trends, and respond to the latest cyberattacks.
* Research and evaluate new technologies to strengthen our defense strategies.
* Develop new features and manage international implementations.
* Optimize operational architecture with agile processes in a DevOps environment.
* Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to drive automation and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
* A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* A deep curiosity about the latest cyberattack trends and mitigation strategies.
* Knowledge of Apache and Nginx configuration as a reverse proxy or WAF.
* Familiarity with BGP, flowspec, and anycast routing on Linux and network routers.
* A passion for automation—we prefer Ansible, Puppet, and Python over repetitive manual tasks.
* Strong analytical skills to assess DDoS attacks and continuously improve our defense platforms.
* Experience (or interest) in Docker, Kubernetes, or the ELK-Stack.
* Appreciation for Open Source technologies, especially Linux.
* Fluency in English (German is a plus).
What We Offer:
* A multinational and multicultural environment, working with experts from around the world.
* Freedom to explore, innovate, and stay ahead of the latest trends.
* A team where collaboration and creativity are essential.
* Exciting challenges in a field that evolves every day.
